- A Triple-A price for a triple-A game
2013 has been a great year for gaming-related bargains. Be it discovering that Terraria is 75% off on Steam or downloading Far Cry 3 for free through PlayStation Plus, or even experiencing the priceless joy of Don Mattrick leaving Xbox – we all have our own favorite ‘too good to be true’-deal. However, following Rovio Entertainment’s
recent post on the EU PlayStation Blog
, we at Pixeled Courier now have reason to believe that all gamers will soon agree on this year’s best deal.
Rovio Entertainment has namely just announced that the Angry Birds Trilogy will be making its way to PS Vita for the near-impossible price of €39.99/£34.99. The package will contain the original Angry Birds along with Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio, a triangle that Rovio describes as “literally hundreds of seconds of fun”.
Sony was also keen to express their joy over the new announcement. ”We’ve always wanted Vita to offer high-budget AAA experiences, as well as smaller, more focused games”, Jack Tretton said at an extraordinary Angry Birds-conference, “and now we’ve done both by giving you three small games for a high-budget AAA price!”.
As if that wasn’t already more than enough, the PlayStation Vita version of Angry Birds Trilogy will bring new features and unique content to Sony’s handheld, such as using Vita’s web browser to access your now-empty back account.
Stay tuned for more Angry Birds Trilogy Vita coverage from Pixeled Courier. A review should be coming up soon, given how we played these games on our phones several years ago.
